This was a quick two night stay, but definitely worth the stop. The weather was wonderful (very hot during the day, but clear skies and dry air) and the sunsets were amazing! Every night, the campground shows Close Encounters of the Third Kind under the stars. Bring a blanket to cuddle with, as it gets chilly once the sun goes down! It is a great way to refresh, relax, and have a movie night with your family and friends.
Devil’s Tower Trail is a great hike for the whole family — doable for beginner level hikers and it’s less than two miles. Also, while you are there, pick up some huckleberry jam at the general store if you’ve never had any!
